Fully Funded Graduate Scholarships for International Students, South Korea

South Korea is offering fully funded scholarships for international students from 147 countries commencing Master degree, Doctoral degree, & research programs in 2024.

The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) 2024 will be available at 71 universities in South Korea. The scholarship program will cover full tuition fees, settlement & monthly allowance, Korean language training, medical insurance, tickets, research allowance, etc. The application process will be divided into 2: by the embassies & the universities.

Fully Funded Scholarships, Korea University, South Korea

Korea University is accepting international students’ applications for the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) University Track. This scholarship is provided for graduate degrees including Masters and Doctorate programs.

Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?

Students that have graduated regular primary, secondary, and higher education equal to 12 grades of school and bachelor degree (and Master for PhD applicants). Students that are using GED, homeschooling, or online courses as a qualification of education are not eligible for this scholarship.
Students who meet the educational background and language requirements given by the chosen program
Students with CGPA at least 2.64 out of 4.0 or equal or ranked within the top 20% in their past education
Citizens of GKS partnering countries that are not Korean citizens and do not have parents with Korean citizenship and do not currently hold Korean double citizenship
Students that are healthy physically and mentally for the duration of the program
For graduate applicants, students that are under 40 years old (or a maximum of 45 years old for applicants that are academic professors in the Official Development Assistance (ODA) countries)
Students that are considered as GKS Scholars are allowed to apply with extra requirements

Fully Funded Global Korea Scholarship, South Korea

The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) is offering scholarships opportunities for international students that are interested in pursuing a degree at Korean Universities. This scholarship is offered for Undergraduate, Master, and PhD programs in various field of study. The GKS is also provided for international studies and R&D study programs that are offered at Korean Universities. This scholarship is open for the University and Embassy tracks.

Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?

Citizens of GKS partnering countries that are not Korean citizens and do not have parents with Korean citizenship and do not currently hold Korean double citizenship.
Students who meet the educational background and language requirements given by the chosen study program and universities.
Students with CGPA at least 2.64 out of 4.0 or equal or ranked within the top 20% in their past education.
Students that are under 25 years old (for applicants of undergraduate program)
For graduate programs, applicants must be under 40 years of age (or a maximum of 45 years old for applicants that are academic professors in the Official Development Assistance (ODA) countries)

Students that are GKS Scholars are allowed to apply with extra requirements

This scholarship is provided for various field of study with undergraduate, master, and PhD degrees that are offered at Korean Universities listed in GKS program.
Applicants that are applying through the university track are required to choose only one study program at one university.
